We are happy to announce that our research project „Evolution and self-similarity of viral epitopes” has won the OTKA grant. What does the short- and long-term evolution of viral epitopes look like in terms of similarity to human proteins? Do viruses exploit immunological blind spots during their escape from immune recognition? We aim to answer these questions in our project.
