In the past year, thanks to the research I conducted with the group, I won two university scholarships. One of these is the TALENT scholarship, organized by the SZTE Junior Academy, the division of the University of Szeged responsible for talent development. Any university student could apply for the TALENT scholarship, and the evaluation was carried out by faculty in order to ensure comparability. In the scoring process, research activity, TDK and other conferences, as well as science communication activities were highly valued. The award ceremony was held at the Rector’s Office in the form of a festive event, attended by the deans or vice-deans of the different faculties, as well as representatives of various Szeged-based companies for the presentation of corporate scholarships.
The other scholarship is the Szeged City Scholarship, which specifically rewarded high school and university students from Szeged who are studying here, with the aim of encouraging them to continue their studies or work in the city after graduation. In the evaluation process, various scientific activities, conferences, and science popularization efforts also carried significant weight. The award ceremony was held in the ceremonial hall of the Mayor’s Office, accompanied by a festive program, and attended by the University Student Council as well as city leaders.
