The President of the Academy announced the Lendület Programme for the first time on January 14, 2009, aimed at supporting outstanding young researchers. The goal of the Lendület Programme is to strengthen the domestic base of young researchers by bringing internationally excellent scientists and outstanding young talents back to Hungary from abroad, or by encouraging them to stay in the country. The programme is designed to support both excellence and mobility, with the aim of providing funding for research groups conducting breakthrough research at host institutions. The model of the programme is of significant national and international importance and is exemplary even by international standards.
Based on expert evaluations and the recommendation of the Lendület Jury, the Lendület Committee decided on June 25, 2025, to include our research group among the supported excellences under the leadership of Dr. Máté Manczinger.
The amount of funding awarded is HUF 188,256,000.
