We are pleased to announce that Alexandra Gyémánt, a member of our research group, has received two prestigious awards in recognition of her outstanding academic and scientific achievements.
The TALENT and Corporate Scholarships were presented in a ceremonial setting in the Ceremonial Hall of the Rector’s Office at the University of Szeged. The TALENT Scholarship recognizes students who not only excel academically but also serve as exemplary members of the university community through their contributions to research, the arts, sports, or public life. Alexandra Gyémánt was awarded the Gold Level TALENT Scholarship in the Life Sciences category.
In addition, Alexandra Gyémánt was awarded the Bronze Level VIATRIS–TDK Excellence Scholarship. Supported by VIATRIS Healthcare Ltd. and administered by the TDK Council of the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School, University of Szeged, the 2026 VIATRIS–TDK Excellence Scholarship Program received 50 applications. The program provides financial support for a four-month period to outstanding students enrolled in the Hungarian-language medical curriculum who demonstrate exceptional achievement in Scientific Students’ Association (TDK) activities. Scholarships are awarded at Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels based on academic and research excellence.
These distinctions reflect Alexandra’s dedication to scientific research, academic excellence, and active engagement within the university community. We warmly congratulate her on these remarkable achievements and wish her continued success in her future scientific endeavors.
